5. Books now circulate for a 45-day loan period and are due back on or
before the due date indicated on the white paper band placed over one of the
books.
6. When one of the items you request is in use, you will be placed on the
waiting list for that item and notified of this. At times, even with
multiple copies of a title, the wait can be several months long. Please be
patient. The item will be sent to you as soon as it is received and your
name is first on the waiting list.
7. If you do not received your requested items or notice of them within
four weeks of submitting the request, please contact the library.
INTERNATIONAL MEMBERS
International members may use the Lending Library by agreeing to pay
airmail postage in both directions for items borrowed. Because of the time
involved in overseas loans we reserve the right not to loan books for which
there is a waiting list. Books that must be insured cannot be loaned unless
the international member agrees to assume full responsibility for them
during the sending and returning of the items. VHS videocassettes are
available for loan but these may not be compatible with non-U.S. video
players.
CANADIAN MEMBERS
Sending books to Canada costs approximately twice as much as within the
United States, as they are shipped airmail; therefore, shipping charges for
Canadian members are double the amount that United States members must
pay. Books that must be insured cannot be loaned unless the Canadian
member agrees to assume full responsibility for them during the sending and
returning of the items.
Videocassettes/DVDs/Microfilm
1. Only two recent VCRs/ DVDs (Nos. 800-) may be borrowed at a time;
otherwise a total of three early numbered VCRs may be borrowed .
2. Postage for the items as indicated on the lending form must be
included.
3. DVDs, microfilm, and VCRs now circulate for a 45-day loan period and
are due back on or before the due date indicated on the white band placed
over one of the videocassettes or DVDs.
4. A complete list of all videocassettes and DVDs are included
periodically in the MART; and this same listing, complete with summaries,
can also be found at the NAWCC Web site Library & Research Center link---www.nawcc.org.
