PEOPLE’S CHOICE WINNER
David J. Holmes (MD)

The Binarwork Clock operates by utilizing a chain of mechanical flip-flops or binary dividers. Each one divides the motion of the balance wheel or pendulum by 2 and sends it down the line. When all flip-flops have reached the “1” state, the minute wheel is ratcheted one step, and the flip-flops are reset to the “0” state. The dial train consists of a wabble gear of unique design. Visit www.binarwork.com to see a video of the clock in action!
