WALTHAM GOLD WATCH STOLEN
My grandfather’s open face Waltham gold watch was stolen in Chicago in 1986. The back opens to reveal three engraved dates: September 11, 1883 – October 18, 1920 – July 15, 1950. The gold chain has a leather fob with gold comedy/tragedy masks on it. When stolen, the watch was in a gray case with blue lining. This heirloom has great sentimental value and I am happy to reimburse the collector who may have purchased it without knowing its history.

I would like to have my list of stolen pocket and wristwatches posted on the
NAWCC site, if at all possible. I am attaching two lists, in excel format.
There is contact information for both the Phoenix police and myself. I am
hoping that some of my watches show up, as it might lead to the return of
our dog, who was also taken in the burglary. He was more valuable to us than
any amount of watches. I am also sending this information for publication in
the Mart next month.
