Nominations For Appointed Board of Directors Positions

redchairs

This is a call for nominations to NAWCC's Board of directors appointed positions to be filled in the spring of 2011. Three directors are needed. All terms are four years in length, and all candidates will be interviewed by the Nominating and Elections Committee (NEC) regarding their eligibility against the requirements listed below. Appointed directors are those who may possess special skill sets needed by the Board and not filled by those elected. Such skills include financial, fundraising, and collections management, along with other leadership experience.

Candidates may come from two sources: self-nomination and nomination by others. You are encouraged to self-nominate by using a prepared form available on the Members Documents page of the NAWCC website: http://www.nawcc.org/index.php/member-information/members-documents, or contact Pam Lindenberger at 717-684-8261, ext. 210. Nominations must arrive at NAWCC, 514 Poplar St., Columbia, PA 17512 by April 5, 2011.

The NEC will select the best three candidates resulting from the interviews and present them to the Board of Directors for appointment. If the Board chooses not to appoint one or more candidates presented by the NEC, then the latter will present additional candidates, one  at a time, until the board has appointed three.
