Servicing a Quartz Watch


Participant will learn how to disassemble, assemble, and perform proper electrical checks to a quarts movement. The participant must be familiar with servicing a standard watch and proper oiling techniques before attending this workshop to be successful in this class.

Tools Student Required to Bring:

·        Selection of eye lops 10x, 4x

·        Jewelers screwdrivers

·        Tweezers 5, 3 or 3C brass or bronze

·        Movement holder for men’s wristwatch

·        Parts tray w/ cover

·        Dip oilers

·        Oil cups

·        Dust blower

Optional Tools Student May Bring:

·        Pithwood

·        Rodico

·        Pegwood

The workshop will be held at the NAWCC School of Horology on Friday through Sunday between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30. This includes two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour for lunch.
