Thursday Bus Tours

Prohibition, Pubs & Piety—9 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Cost is $70 per person
Learn how Prohibition affected life in Lancaster, once called “the Munich of the West”;
Tour features mysterious vaults and speakeasies.
Visit local churches and learn about how the Law and Order Society was formed to “clean up” Lancaster, and how one man brought reform, eliminating the mob, bootleggers, and crooked police, within one year.

Gardens and Pirates—8 a.m.-4 p.m.
Cost is $85 per person
Guided tour of Longwood Gardens and time to stroll through the vast gardens on your own.

Delaware Art Museum, private guided tour of Howard Pyle’s works including his famous pirate illustrations.
