NAWCC Logo Use Terms of Service

The NAWCC Logos and link code shown here are the sole and exclusive property of the National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors, Inc. ("NAWCC") but may be used by NAWCC members in good standing in accordance with the terms and conditions of this limited and revocable license agreement. Use of one or more of the Logos or link code constitutes consideration, agreement, and acceptance of the following terms and conditions:

	1. Logos are made available to NAWCC members in good standing in print format, in color and/or black, and in formats suitable for electronic media, in color and/or black. If used on the Internet, the Logo must always be a single active link to the NAWCC home page at http://www.nawcc.org. (See guidelines below.)

	The Logo appearance and Logo link code may not be revised or altered in any way, and must be displayed in the same form, color as produced by NAWCC. Logos for web use are provided in two sizes and must not be scaled to a different size.

	2. The Logos may be used in a professional manner on the member’s business cards, stationery, literature, advertisements, storefront window, website, or in any other comparable manner to signify the user's membership in NAWCC.

	The Logo may never be used independent of the term "MEMBER."

	The Logos may not be used in any manner that, in the sole discretion of NAWCC, discredits NAWCC or tarnishes its reputation and goodwill; is false or misleading; violates the rights of others; violates any law, regulation, or other public policy.

	The Logo must not be used to mischaracterize the relationship between NAWCC and the member user. This includes but is not limited to any use of the Logos that might be reasonably construed as an endorsement, approval, sponsorship, or certification by NAWCC of the user, the user's business or organization, or the user's products or services, or that might be reasonably construed as support or encouragement to purchase or utilize the user's products or services. 

	3. Use of the Logos and link code shall create no rights for users to the Logos or their use beyond the terms and conditions of this limited and revocable license.

	The Logos shall remain at all times the sole and exclusive intellectual property of NAWCC. NAWCC reserves the right to review use of the Logo at any time.

	NAWCC reserves the right to prohibit use of the Logos and link code if it determines, in its sole discretion, that a user's Logo usage, whether willful or negligent, is not in strict accordance with the terms and conditions of this license, otherwise could discredit NAWCC, or tarnish its reputation and goodwill, or if the user is not an NAWCC member in good standing.

	4. Any failure by a user to comply with the terms and conditions contained herein will result in the immediate revocation of this license, in addition to any other sanctions imposed by NAWCC.

	The interpretation and enforcement (or lack thereof) of these terms and conditions, and compliance therewith, shall be made by NAWCC in its sole discretion. 

	5. Any questions concerning use of the Logos or the terms and conditions of this license should be directed to the NAWCC Executive Director.

	The right to use the NAWCC member Logo shall terminate and be revoked upon the member’s failure to remain in good standing (i.e., non-payment of dues, ethics violation) in the event of misuse by the member as determined by NAWCC, or any other breach of this Policy for Use. Upon such termination and/or revocation, the member will eliminate the use of the NAWCC member Logo from all materials, products, and services, regardless of whether such materials, products, and services are preprinted or pre-existing at that time.

	Legal action may be taken against anyone who uses the NAWCC member Logo in violation of the above policy.

Logo Link Usage Guidelines and Regulations

	Proper Internet usage of the NAWCC Logo requires compliance with the following guidelines:

Required Link

	The Logo must always be a single active link to the NAWCC home page at http://www.nawcc.org See the HTML code provided below.

Required HTML Code - New Browser Window Use

	The following code must be used to place the Logo on your web page. The Logo itself must be located in the same directory as the web page that references it:

	For small logo:

	Logo Size for Internet Use

	There are two versions of the Logo. The required size of the Logo is 84 by 147 pixels or 60 pixels by 105 pixels (Business Member Logo sizes are 84 pixels by 180 pixels or 60 pixels by 128 pixels). The Logos may NOT be displayed in a larger size, even if all elements of the Logo are increased in size proportionately. Your web page title and other trademarks and Logos must appear at least as prominently as the Logo.

Required Placement

	The Logo must be placed by itself in a prominent location on your site. The Logo may not be used as a feature or design element of any other Logo. The Logo must not be used in conjunction with a high-contrast background.

No Alteration Allowed

	The Logo must not be modified or distorted in size, color, or proportion from the NAWCC-supplied version.

Positive Presentation

	The Logo may not be used to depict NAWCC in a manner that could reflect adversely on NAWCC or its services.

	Your web page title and other trademarks and Logos must appear at least as prominently as the Logo.

	You may not display the Logo in any manner that implies sponsorship.

Application for NAWCC Logo Use

The Logo may only be used with the permission of NAWCC. To receive the Logo, either for print application or for website use to link your site to NAWCC’s homepage, read the above License Agreement, Guidelines, and Regulations and hit the "ACCEPT" button.
