The students will learn the technique of cutting gears and pinions using a micro mill. Machining procedures covered in this course are the same as used by manufacturers to manufacture watch and clock parts Some of the topics covered will include:
This workshop is open to all but the participants must be familiar with the micro lathe. All materials, supplies and machines will be provided. The workshop will be held at the NAWCC School of Horology on Saturday and Sunday between the hours of 8:00 and 4:30. This includes two 15 minute breaks and 1 hour for lunch. |
