Museum Timepiece Adoption

Astronomical Clock

The National Watch & Clock Museum serves as a significant resource for students and scholars interested in the time, timekeeping, and horology. The Museum and Library collections represent some of the finest resources available to watch and clock enthusiasts and it is the staff of both that serve as the conduit for that information. The staff and volunteers at the National Watch & Clock Museum and Library work hard to make these resources available, and we ask that you consider supporting that effort through the Museum’s Timepiece Adoption Program.

The National Watch & Clock Museum and Library generate a substantial amount of their operating income through admissions, NAWCC Store sales, Library fees, and other sources, but we still rely on the financial support of individuals. The Museum and Library are continually working on new ways to meet the needs of NAWCC members and other horological enthusiasts. We will be successful in this endeavor with your support.

The National Watch & Clock Museum’s Timepiece Adoption Program allows donors the opportunity to support the Museum through the personal act of adopting a timepiece in the Museum collection. Your name will appear on a label for your adopted timepiece for the period of one year, you will be provided an 8" x 10" image of the adopted object, and recognition on the Museum's website. Adoptions begin at $250; however, you are encouraged to support at any level, be it higher or lower, and all donations are greatly appreciated.

I hope that you will consider supporting the Museum and Library through the Timepiece Adoption Program so that we may continue to serve our members, the general public, and posterity.
