The National Watch & Clock Museum plans several special events each year. Events range from  familiy sleepoevers, food and beverage tastings, decade dances, special tours for NAWCC Members and Friends of the Museum, special educational events, and much more.

2015 Make and Takebanner2

 

Children of all ages will enjoy creating their own working clock to take home during our annual Make and Take Mondays at the Museum. Drop by the Museum between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m any Monday from June 1st through August 31st. Clock Making Fee: $8.00 per clock, does not included in museum admission. No reservations needed. Large groups of 10 or more should make reservations by calling 717-684-8261, ext. 237.

Annual Hops N Clocks 
Friday, July 10th

Our annual beer and local restaurant tasting event. Tickets to this event go on sale June 1st. Be sure to get your tickets early as this event sells out quickly. Cost is $30 per sampling ticket and $15 for non samplers. Call 717-684-8261 ext. 211.

Coming September 26, 2015 and in conjunction with Smithsonian Magazine’s Free Museum Day, the National Watch & Clock Museum is hosting its first ever Cloktoberfest!

The event will include food, music, horologica, timepiece evaluations, behind-the-scenes tours, kids activities, and more! The Family overnight is a unique opportunity for families with children ages 6-12 to spend the night at the Museum and enjoy activities including decorating a clock to take home and explore the many museum's exhibit through a scavenger hunt. Saturday, October 31st from 7-10pm
 
On this Daylight Saving Time weekend join the museum as we mark the end of daylight saving time with a Halloween bash. Event features music, hors d'oveuvres, and cash bar. Tickets are $20 per individual and $30 per couple. Come in your best costume. To purchase tickets call 717-684-8261 ext.211. *21 and over event.

• See a watchmaker a work
• Go on a scavenger hunt through the Museum
exhibits
• Make a working clock to take home
• Learn how research a timepiece

The cost is $10 per student (ages 6 and up). One adult free per household (additional adults are $6). Space for lunch is available. The activities are set up as stations so you can come anytime between 10-3pm to participate. We suggest allowing at least two hours. Advance registration is needed.
