About the Cover

This month's front cover features a collage of digital images taken on the mart floor at the National Convention in Charlotte, NC. The photographer is Bruce Reding, an NAWCC member located in Wilmington, NC. Charlotte was Bruce's first National and he thought that the mart, in particular, was breathtaking in its scope and variety. Bruce also wrote an enthusiastic report about his mart discoveries, from the prospective of an avid wristwatch collector. His report complete with additional images, was posted on www.timezone.com on August 10 and is accessible by pathing to the community/tz classic posts page. It was not his intent to create our cover collage until well after the event was over, and he apologizes that some of the items are not as comprehensively described as they deserve to be (we're just happy that he contacted us after creating this work of art!). Please reference page 674 for a complete listing of the items and people featured on the front cover.
