Internship Opportunities

The National Watch and Clock Museum offers a variety of internships, ranging from part- to full-time and that can be seasonal in duration.

Library & Archives Internship

Students pursuing careers in archives, research, library science, or museum studies work on projects that match their goals and interests. These could include processing and organizing collections in the museum and library.

Collections Management Internship

Students pursuing careers in museum studies learn to document, store, display, and maintain collections, and work on projects involving researching and storing collection items.

Education Internship

Students pursuing careers in education or museum studies learn to develop grade-specific and all-ages programs on a variety of horology topics, including make-and-take programs, Museum tours, interpretive presentations, and more.

Exhibits Internship

Students pursuing careers in museum studies learn to develop exhibits from conception to installation, and will work on projects including researching a topic, developing interpretive materials, installation, de-installation, and exhibit maintenance.
